On a night full of premieres, it was ABC that managed to turn heads as Last Man Standing (1.5) soared to a new season high, well above any result this season or even from last season. Assuming it wasn't preempted, this is an incredible result that should very well make it an easy renewal. Afterwards, Dr. Ken (1.1) also hit a new high of its own, cracking a 1 for the first time this season. The boost continued on to Shark Tank (1.4) which finally had a pretty strong number hitting a new season high, well above it's dreadful 1.0 low from its last episode. ABC rounded out the night with 20/20 (1.4) which also had a particularly strong result easily setting a new high.

Coming in second was the CBS drama trio as MacGyver (1.2), Hawaii Five-0 (1.2), and Blue Bloods (1.3) all had healthy results. MacGyver hit it's highest result since the first two episodes while Hawaii and Blue Bloods both inched up from their previous results.

Ironically, the networks with anticipated premieres ended up sliding into third and fourth. First off was NBC which revamped it's Friday night with the return of Grimm (0.9), it managed to be in line with its average result from last season but couldn't quite match its 1.1 premiere from last year. Grimm led into the series premiere of Emerald City (1.1/1.0), it's not an amazing result by any means, but it didn't exactly flop either. We'll see where it ends up in the coming weeks but City doesn't have much room to drop before it becomes a problem.

Fourth-place FOX said hello to a new line-up as well starting off the night with Thursday-night reject, Rosewood (0.6), it was about as disastrous as you could expect though not surprising in the least. Rosewood led into the season four premiere of revamped Sleepy Hollow (0.6). For once, a season of Sleepy Hollow managed to not premiere to a new low, instead tying its previous one, but that's not really saying much considering how terrible this result is.

The CW had a 2-hour Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (0.2/0.2) and it was basically in line with every result this season.
