ABC has renewed their Tuesday anchor The Middle for a ninth season. The series has done well in the slot since its move from Wednesdays, helping to successfully launch new series American Housewife. The Middle has averaged a 1.6 over the course of this season, and this was a correct prediction for the TV Ratings Guide.
