The Middle Spinoff Not Moving Forward on ABC

ABC is not moving forward with a planned spinoff of the recently-ended series The Middle. The planned series would have focused on Sue Heck, one of the main characters from The Middle, navigating a career in Chicago. Eden Sher was set to reprise her role, along with Brock Ciarlelli and newcomers Chris Diamantopoulos and Finesse Mitchell. Warner Brothers is shopping the project to other outlets.
