Thursday TV Ratings 12/25/25: How the Grinch Stole Christmas Down from 2024 Rating, NBA Christmas Game on ABC Heavily Down [+ Analysis]

On Christmas, NBA on ABC (0.83/0.48) led the way, even as numbers were down sharply from last year. NBC aired two different Grinch iterations (0.33/0.34), which were noticeably stronger than CBS repeats of Ghosts (0.26/0.14) and FBI (0.10). Fox aired Hell's Kitchen reruns (0.08/0.08). Wednesday TV Ratings 12/24/25: Home Alone Dominates but Down Sizably from 2024, It’s a Wonderful Life Also Down but Strong, Hollywood Squares Repeat Doubles Original Rating [+ Analysis]

On the night before Christmas, it was the annual ABC showing of Home Alone (0.50) that led the way on network TV. NBC's broadcast of It's A Wonderful Life (0.35) was close behind. CBS aired repeats of Hollywood Squares (0.20) and Ghosts (0.14/0.14/0.14/0.14). Fox went with encores of Name That Tune (0.09) and Doc (0.06). Key: (R) = repeat.

Monday TV Ratings 12/22/25: Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris and Hollywood Squares Holiday Special Abysmal, SNL Christmas Tops All Other Non-NFL Programming, Everybody Loves Raymond Reunion Lower for Part 2 [+ Analysis]

The second part of the Everybody Loves Raymond reunion special (0.24) brought in diminishing returns for CBS, as it was down nearly 40% from part one (0.38) in the key demographic. But the news got worse from there as a Christina Aguilera special (0.11) and a holiday-themed Hollywood Squares (0.10) were significantly weaker than Raymond. On NBC, A Saturday Night Live Christmas (0.26) rose by a full tenth from the episode of The Paper (0.16) that led into it. ABC aired the 49ers v. Colts NFL game (1.76). Fox went with repeats of Name That Tune (0.16) and Celebrity Weakest Link (0.12). The film A California Christmas: City Lights (0.01) made no noise on the CW. Key: (R) = repeat.

Thursday TV Ratings 12/18/25: Ghosts Sinks to Series Low for Christmas Episode, Georgie & Mandy Hits Season High, Next Level Baker Ends on Series High [+ Analysis]

It was a mixed bag for CBS on Thursday night as Georgie & Mandy (0.43, +0.07) soared at eight, but Ghosts (0.25, -0.08) struggled at nine. In between was another Georgie & Mandy (0.36, -0.07), down noticeably from the earlier episode. Elsbeth (0.18, 0.00) was steady at ten. ABC aired Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (0.25) and finished airing The Great Christmas Light Fight (0.19/0.15). On NBC, A Saturday Night Live Christmas (0.23) was a touch above a Password Holiday Special (0.19). Next Level Baker (0.16, +0.04) set a new high for its Fox finale. Wednesday TV Ratings 12/17/25: Survivor and The Floor Slip for Finales, CBS Leads Coverage of Trump Address, Jingle Ball Slightly Down from 2024 [+ Analysis]

On CBS, Survivor (0.71, -0.10) lost a tenth for its finale, and The Floor (0.29/0.25) was also down from last week on Fox. ABC got a 0.25 out of iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2025, while Shrek the Halls (0.23) was close behind on NBC. On the presidential address front, it was CBS (0.56) that posted the strongest Adults 18-49 rating. ABC (0.42) took second, NBC (0.28) trailed, and Fox (0.26) placed last. Key: (R) = repeat.
