United We Fall has, well, fallen. The rookie sitcom has been canceled by ABC after a single season. It was a solid-enough performer for ABC and kept the lights on during the low-rated summer. The show averaged a 0.5 in its eight episodes, but wasn't owned by ABC and was clearly not a network favorite. The show premiered on July 15 and ended on August 26, 2020. The show starred Will Sasso, Christina Vidal, Jane Curtin and Guillermo Diaz. This was a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

Summer Renew/Cancel Week 17: Love Island Isn’t Doing Lovely, but Don’t Count It Out
Wednesday TV Ratings 8/26/20: United We Fall Ends Stable, Republican National Convention Slightly Up, Big Brother Rises (UPDATED)
The Republican National Convention continued for night three with speakers including VP Mike Pence, Senators Joni Ernst and Marsha Blackburn, Governor Kristi Noem, Kellyanne Conway, Kayleigh McEnany, Reps. Elise Stefanik and Lee Zeldin, and former DNI Richard Grenell.
Coverage of the RNC rose slightly on CBS, potentially thanks to the far superior lead-in. Instead of the incompatible and low-rated Love Island, the RNC got the higher-rated and semi-compatible Tough As Nails as a lead-in. Tough as Nails rose a tenth, and the RNC also rose from Tuesday. It was steady with the DNC's rating a week ago. At the start of CBS's night, Big Brother also rose a tenth and easily won the night.
Things weren't getting any better for America's Got Talent Wednesday night. Once the dominant summer program, it's now at nearly half of what Big Brother is doing ratings-wise and held steady with last week's low of 0.6. After it, a Game of Games repeat was steady at 0.4 and the RNC was steady at 0.3, two tenths below the DNC's comparable rating last week (but only a tenth below the DNC's preliminary rating.)
ABC said farewell to their summer sitcom United We Fall, which was steady with yet another 0.5. Though it's no power player, it's a solid result for a show that ABC clearly didn't have high expectations for. As shown by some of their other summer shows, ratings easily could've been worse. ABC sitcom repeats were at 0.4/0.3/0.3, with the 8:30 Goldberg encore rising from last week. At 10, the RNC was down a tenth both from the previous night on ABC and the DNC last week (in both cases, they adjusted up in the finals, so this broadcast still has a chance).
Fox had another MasterChef repeat night at 0.4.
The CW had a special on women's employment featuring appearances by Hillary Clinton, Sheryl Crow and Jane Fonda at 0.1, followed by Coroner, also at 0.1. Once again, Coroner grew from its lead-in in viewers.
Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary ratings.

Summer Renew/Cancel Week 16: What Would You Do? Is Overdue for an Upgrade
Wednesday TV Ratings 8/19/20: Democratic National Convention Rises with Speeches from Obama and Harris, Big Brother Stays on Top (UPDATED)
The Democratic National Convention continued to across the big three, this time bringing in more familiar faces such as former Rep. Gabby Giffords, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Elizabeth Warren, former President Barack Obama and Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Coverage of the convention was on the rise on NBC, up a tenth from yesterday's preliminary number to a 0.4, topping the big three networks' coverage. Earlier in the night, America's Got Talent was down a tenth both from last Wednesday's number and this Tuesday's result, continuing its mid-season downward slide. A repeat of Ellen's Game of Games at 9 was at 0.4.
CBS again had the top show of the night as Big Brother attracted yet another 1.0. Though this isn't too massive based on the show's prior ratings history, it's extremely impressive when you compare it to America's Got Talent and the rest of the low-rated summer TV lineup. Speaking of low-rated, Tough as Nails dropped a tenth at 9 to a 0.4, tying its low. The Democratic National Convention was up from Tuesday's preliminary number to a 0.3.
ABC had another steady 0.5 for United We Fall, followed by 0.3s for comedy repeats. The Democratic Convention was steady with Tuesday's airing at 0.3.
The CW continued with 0.1s, this time for The 100 and Coroner. Once again, Coroner gained on The 100 in total viewership.
Fox had a two-hour MasterChef encore at 0.4.
Finals Update: The Democratic National Convention coverage on NBC (+0.1) and ABC (+0.1) adjusted up.
