Hulu has canceled its new Mindy Kaling-created comedy Not Suitable for Work after just one season. The series aired nine episodes in June 2026.
Not Suitable for Work spent two days at #1 on Hulu shortly after its premiere on June 2, 2026, and last made a chart appearance at #15 on July 14. It also spent six days at #1 on Disney+, with its most recent chart appearance being on July 16.
According to Television Stats, Not Suitable for Work held a 16.3 Attention Score at the time its final two episodes dropped in late June, but is down to a 2.6 Attention Score at the time of its cancelation.
According to Luminate, the series garnered a modest 800,000 viewers within its first eleven days, at which point five of the nine episodes had been released.
Mindy Kaling is also the creator of Netflix's sports drama Running Point, which has been renewed for a third season. Kaling former created, executive produced, and starred in The Mindy Project, which became one of Hulu's first notable original series after the streaming service saved the sitcom from cancelation in 2015.
