Wednesday TV Ratings 9/28/22: The Masked Singer Rises, Survivor and Abbott Elementary Drop (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Attendance for 'Abbott Elementary' (0.46, -0.11) nosedived in week two, with the ABC sitcom losing more than a full tenth from its premiere (0.57). 'The Goldbergs' (0.36, -0.08), 'Home Economics' (0.30, -0.08), and 'Big Sky' (0.19, -0.07) all dealt with sizable blows as well, but 'The Conners' (0.51, -0.02) seemed a little more resilient in the 8PM hour. On CBS, 'Survivor' (0.66, -0.13) and 'The Amazing Race' (0.38, -0.08) both crashed to new series lows. NBC dramas 'Chicago Med' (0.66, -0.04), 'Chicago Fire' (0.68, -0.01), and 'Chicago PD' (0.66, -0.01) all dipped a bit from their week-ago returns. On Fox, 'The Masked Singer' (0.66, +0.03) somehow managed to rise by three-hundredths from last week's start. 'LEGO Masters' (0.35, -0.01) shed a single hundredth in the 9PM hour. 'Stargirl' (0.04, -0.02) lost another two-hundredths on the CW and was beaten out by repeats of 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.05/0.05) that came after.

Finals Update: 'Survivor' (+0.1), 'Chicago Med' (+0.1), 'Chicago Fire' (+0.1), and 'Chicago PD' (+0.1) adjusted up.
