Manifest Renewed by Netflix for Final Season

After lengthy negotiations, Manifest has finally been cleared for takeoff. The NBC sci-fi drama that found a new audience after being added to Netflix a few months ago was canceled after three seasons by NBC, which made Netflix interested in picking up the show. NBC also expressed interest in the show that they'd canceled just weeks before, though they recently were reported as being out of content ion for a season four pickup of the show. Now, those talks with Netflix have finally come through and the show will return for a fourth and final season. The season will run twenty episodes, marking the longest season of the show ever, and it will be split in at least two different parts. Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, and JR Ramirez star in the series and are set to return, while Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, Matt Long and Jack Messina are in negotiations to return.

Manifest Canceled After Three Seasons

Manifest has been grounded. NBC has canceled the sci-fi drama after three seasons. The show perpetually found itself on the bubble due to being an outside production (it co-produced and distrubuted by Warner Bros.) with middling ratings. It averaged 0.51 in its third season, putting it right in the middle of NBC's scripted pack. Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez and Luna Blaise starred in the series. The show wrapped up its run on June 10 after forty-two episodes. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

Manifest Renewed by NBC

Manifest will take another flight on NBC in the 2020-21 season. The sci-fi drama has been renewed for a third season today after a season of decent ratings. It averaged 0.68 for season two, marking a huge 48% decline from its first season but far higher than previous The Voice lead-out Bluff City Law. It's also a strong DVR gainer, typically more than doubling its Live+Same-Day rating in Live+7 measurements. Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis and JR Ramirez star in the series.

NBC Orders Manifest to Series

NBC has given a series order to drama pilot Manifest.

Manifest is a high-concept sci-fi drama. The series is created by Jeff Rake, who previously developed The Mysteries of Laura for NBC. It stars Once Upon a Time's Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh of film Star Trek Beyond and CW series Valor.

The logline for the series, from Deadline: "A plane disappears from radar and returns years later after being untraceable and presumed lost at sea. No time has passed for those on the plane, but for their loved ones at home, many years have gone by. The series follows their personal lives as well as the larger mystery and purpose that is their destiny." The series is produced by Warner Bros.
