Monday TV Ratings 2/12/24: The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii All Rise from Finales, The Irrational Slides (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: It was a very successful premiere night for CBS as The Neighborhood (0.55), Bob Hearts Abishola (0.47), NCIS (0.49), and NCIS: Hawai'i (0.38) were all way up from their May 2023 finales (0.48/0.39/0.39/0.29). Even compared to their last season premieres from September 2022 (0.50/0.43/0.42/0.40), all these shows were mostly up, with only Hawai'i down slightly. ABC's The Bachelor (0.61, +0.03) was unaffected by the strong CBS returns and actually gained a few ticks, while Bad Romance (0.20, -0.02) floundered. America's Got Talent: Fantasy League (0.33, 0.00) was stable on NBC, but The Irrational (0.19, -0.05) crashed to a new series low. Fox offerings America's Most Wanted (0.20, -0.03) and TMZ Investigates (0.15, -0.01) were also on the decline. Ride (0.05, 0.00) was steady on the CW.

Finals Update: The Bachelor (+0.1) adjusted up.

Monday TV Ratings 2/5/24: AGT: Fantasy League and The Irrational Drop, The Bachelor Maintains Wide Lead (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: America's Got Talent: Fantasy League (0.33, -0.08) and The Irrational (0.24, -0.03) slipped on NBC, with the latter tying its series low. Fox's America's Most Wanted (0.23, -0.06) and TMZ Investigates (0.16, -0.04) also dropped. The Bachelor (0.58, +0.03) and Bad Romance (0.22, +0.03) gained three-hundredths apiece on ABC. Monday TV Ratings 1/29/24: The Irrational Returns Slightly Down, America’s Most Wanted Also Slips, The Bachelor Rises (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: NBC drama The Irrational (0.27, -0.01) was down by just a hundredth in its return from a break that lasted nearly three months and retained a healthy portion of its America's Got Talent: Fantasy League lead-in (0.41, +0.01). On ABC, The Bachelor (0.55, +0.02) built on last week's soft-ish premiere, but the 20/20-based documentary series Bad Romance (0.19, -0.03) got even weaker in week 2. Fox's America's Most Wanted (0.29, -0.01) and TMZ Investigates (0.20, -0.01) each lost a hundredth. Ride (0.06, 0.00) was stable on the CW and led into another rerun of Wild Cards (0.05). CBS re-ran The Neighborhood (0.29), Bob Hearts Abishola (0.24), and Yellowstone (0.19/0.16).

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary rounded ratings.

Monday TV Ratings 1/22/24: The Bachelor Returns with Lowest Premiere Yet, America’s Most Wanted OK, The Traitors Preview Low (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's The Bachelor (0.53) was a little weaker than usual in its return, declining about 18% from its January 2023 premiere (0.65) in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Regardless, even a worn-out Bachelor was strong enough to top all other competitors in the key demo. In the 10 p.m. time slot, a special edition of 20/20 (0.22) barely retained more than 40% of its lead-in. On NBC, America's Got Talent: Fantasy League (0.40, +0.09) was completely unfazed by the return of The Bachelor and instead soared to a new series high. Peacock drama The Traitors (0.17) made its NBC debut right after Fantasy League, though few tuned in to witness it. America's Most Wanted (0.30) got off to a passable start on Fox, but TMZ Investigates (0.21) lagged behind it in the 9 p.m. hour. CBS went with reruns of The Neighborhood (0.35), Bob Hearts Abishola (0.28), and Yellowstone (0.21/0.15). The CW began airing repeats of canceled Hallmark series Ride (0.06) and threw in another Wild Cards encore (0.04).

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary rounded ratings.
