Wednesday TV Ratings 5/14/25: Sullivan’s Crossing Premieres Down, Survivor Climbs to Season High, Chicago Fire Jumps as Chicago Med Slides [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: In its CW return, Sullivan's Crossing (0.04) fell behind its December 2024 finale (0.06) and didn't seem to help Sherlock & Daughter (0.03, -0.02). CBS's Survivor (0.83, +0.21) soared, while The Amazing Race (0.29, -0.03) declined. On ABC, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.26, +0.02) was up slightly, while Jeopardy! Masters (0.19, 0.00) tied its week-ago performance. NBC's Chicago Med (0.32, -0.07) dropped, but Chicago Fire (0.41, +0.08) and Chicago PD (0.35, +0.01) climbed higher. Fox had no luck with America's Most Wanted: John Walsh's Dirty Dozen (0.11) and a TMZ Investigates special about Justin Bieber (0.10). Key: (P) = premiere. (R) = repeat.

Monday TV Ratings 1/6/25: Kids Baking Championship Returns Higher, Brilliant Minds Slips for Finale, The Neighborhood Encore Leads Broadcast [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: On NBC, Brilliant Minds (0.21, +0.01) was up slightly from its last episode in the 9 p.m. hour but slipped for its 10 p.m. finale (0.18, -0.03). CBS went with repeats of The Neighborhood (0.31), Poppa's House (0.24), NCIS (0.16), and NCIS: Origins (0.15). ABC aired three encores of Will Trent (0.22/0.16/0.16). On Fox, a TMZ Investigates installment about Luigi Mangione (0.18) improved on the Liam Payne edition that aired in December (0.12). Police 24/7 reruns (0.06/0.07) performed well by the CW's standards. Monday TV Ratings 12/16/24: What We Do in the Shadows Rises for Series Finale, Little Big Town’s Christmas At the Opry Low, The Neighborhood and NCIS Soar [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Little Big Town's Christmas At the Opry (0.24) struggled on NBC but still doubled Fox's TMZ Investigates special about Liam Payne (0.12). On CBS, The Neighborhood (0.39, +0.11), Poppa's House (0.32, +0.07), NCIS (0.32, +0.08), and NCIS: Origins (0.25, +0.06) all rebounded after last week's collective plunge. ABC's Bears v. Vikings NFL game (3.11) nearly doubled the week-ago Bengals v. Cowboys match-up (1.60) in the key demographic. The CW re-aired the TV film Operation Mistletoe (0.04). Key: (R) = repeat.

Sunday TV Ratings 6/16/24: Tony Awards Slip from 2023, Olympic Swimming Trials Lead, UFL Soars for Championship [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: The Tony Awards (0.41) performed reasonably well on CBS but were down slightly from last year's ceremony (0.46). On NBC, the US Olympic Trials (0.48) were down from Saturday but topped the night in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Repeat showings of The Wall (0.46) and Weakest Link (0.24) sandwiched the Trials. UFL (0.39, +0.19) soared on Fox, but a TMZ Investigates special (0.09) and Grimsburg rerun (0.05) dropped dramatically from there. On ABC, The Jungle Book (0.20) was a tenth below the America's Funniest Home Videos encore (0.30) that led into it. On the CW, 1998 film Armageddon (0.07) beat the week-ago I Am Legend (0.05).
