Friday TV Ratings 9/13/24: Robin Roberts Emmys Special Weak, College Football on Fox Leads, WWE SmackDown Grows in Return to USA Network [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Even with WWE Smackdown out of the picture, Fox retained its Friday-night dominance, this time with the help of college football (0.60). Smackdown itself (0.55) remained a force on the USA network. On ABC, an Emmys-based special (0.17) did not move the needle and seemed to bring down 20/20 (0.24, -0.02). Let's Make a Deal Primetime (0.25, +0.04) and Lingo (0.17, +0.02) both improved on CBS. NBC aired a repeat of America's Got Talent (0.18) and Dateline (0.16). The CW went with Whose Line Is It Anyway? (0.06/0.06) and Inside the NFL (0.03). Key: (R) = repeat.
