It's a good day to be a fan of The Deuce. It's also a bad day to be a fan of The Deuce. HBO announced today that their sophomore drama series will return next year for a third season, though it will be the show's last. Even though the show is down significantly this season, currently 41% down in the ratings from last season, the show doesn't rate too poorly for HBO, in-line with previously-renewed Summer drama Succession and improving on the since-canceled winter/spring drama Here & Now. It has also received solid reviews, including a Golden Globe nomination for star Maggie Gyllenhaal. Below are the ratings for its second season, so far.
