The Company You Keep Canceled by ABC

ABC will no longer keep company with The Company You Keep. They've canceled the drama series today after a single season. The series was one of two new midseason dramas on ABC this season, the other being Will Trent. While Will Trent worked out for them, The Company You Keep never really caught on. The show averaged just 0.25 in the key 18-49 demo, consistently retaining less than half of its American Idol lead-in. Though ABC boasted about its streaming performance after its premiere, it still didn't do enough there to earn a place on ABC's schedule next season. The show was the first project for Milo Ventimiglia after the end of This Is Us, with Catherine Haena Kim, Sarah Wayne Callies, William Fichtner, James Saito and Polly Draper also starring alongside him.
