CBS was the only broadcast network with original scripted programming for the night, but the results were meager as usual as Ransom (0.4) remained steady with its last episode leading into Thursday night reject Training Day (0.4). The latter went well below its 0.6 low but after being off the air for so long, not much more was expected. Both dramas were humiliated as a repeat of 48 Hours (0.5) beat them at 10.

NBC's Dateline (0.8) managed to match its Friday original result despite being a repeat and managed to be the highest program of the night. Meanwhile, SNL Vintage (0.7) returned back to its normal levels after hitting a 0.4 last week due to leading out of low-rated Figure Skating.

ABC's NBA game, Clippers at Spurs (0.5), didn't draw much interest, and there was even less interest for a Countdown special (0.3) leading into it.

FOX had repeats of the only solid-performing shows on their respective Thursday and Tuesday night lineups, MasterChef Junior (0.3) and Prison Break (0.3).
