Sporcle TV Quizzes of the Week- Must See TV Edition/Sporcle Contest Season 3 Part 3

1- Will & Grace Actor/Character Match

It's no secret that I absolutely adore Will & Grace. From the cast to the writing, I just love everything about it. So naturally, I had to include it in the special Must See TV edition of the Quizzes of the Week. This is my favorite Will & Grace quiz on Sporcle, mostly because I'm a sucker for the simple character/actor match format. This one's done quite well, including both main characters and some of the show's most notable recurring characters.
Number of Questions: 15

2- Must See TV

The definitive Must See TV quiz, featuring ever show to have aired under the banner, this quiz is more than a little difficult. It's one I've played multiple times over the years, though I've never been able to master it. Nevertheless, it's still pretty fun, and it's a nice reminder of the many, many, many fallen one-season flops.
Number of Questions: 170

3- Other Shows and Movies of the Friends Cast

And we move from the definitive Must See TV quiz to a quiz about the definitive Must See TV show, Friends. It's one of the most iconic and notable shows of all time, and it helped make its six stars household names. While the shows and movies they've gone on to star in may not be as iconic as Friends, there's still plenty of notable works to be found. And plenty of one-and-done flops, as well.
Number of Questions: 20

Sporcle TV Quizzes of the Week- Game Shows Edition/Sporcle Contest Season 3 Part 2

It's time for the second week of the Sporcle TV Quizzes of the Week! Last week focused on comedy juggernaut Saturday Night Live, and this week focuses on one of my favorite TV genres, game shows! Let's match the stars!

1- Match Gamers

Match Game is my favorite game show (and one of my favorite shows) of all time, with its 1970s version being superior to any other iterations of it. That explains why this quiz, one that I made, is mostly packed with stars from the old Match Game. From the panel staples to those that stopped by just a few times, you'll find a whole slew of stars from the '70s here. Plus some of the newer, shinier celebrities from Alec Baldwin's 2016 reboot.
Number of Questions: 24

2- Classic TV Game Show Personalities

The beauty of this quiz is that it has such a great variety of game shows, many of which I had never even heard of. I did horrible on this quiz, but the enjoyable part of it was that I actually learned something from it. I can't say that about every quiz I play, especially in the TV category, so this was a breath of fresh air. I just hope you all can struggle a little less than I did.
Number of Questions: 20

3- Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?

The other quizzes featured here ask trivia questions about game shows and the many personalities that appeared on them. This quiz, however, puts you in the shoes of an actual game show contestant, using the winning game from a real episode of Millionaire and asking you to answer the questions, just like the player did. Sure, you don't win any money for playing this version, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun with it!
Number of Questions: 15

Sporcle TV Quizzes of the Week- Saturday Night Live Edition/Sporcle Contest Season 3 Part 1 (Updated)

Welcome back to the Sporcle TV Quizzes of the Week! We're back for season three, with similar rules as last season. For those of you just joining us and those in need of a refresher, the scoring system is as follows:
For each week in the 12-week tournament, players receive the sum of their points on three Sporcle quizzes, which counts towards their total tournament score. This means that if you receive 55 points on your quizzes for the week, these points will be added to any previous points, and the player with the most points after 12 weeks of competition will be the winner. Additionally, the first place competitor each week will receive a three-point bonus. It's about time to play some quizzes, and live from New York, it's Sporcle!

1) SNL - Kate McKinnon Impressions

Kate McKinnon is one of SNL's brightest stars currently on the show, picking up multiple Emmys for her role on the show and praise from just about everyone (including me). Part of what makes her so great is that she's a deeply gifted impressionist, and this quiz, part of a large series that I recommend everyone tries out, focuses on just a handful of her notable impressions. Not included are Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Kellyanne Conway, Attorney General Jeff(erson Beauregard) Sessions, Angela Merkel, and Frances McDormand, all of which I find way too hilarious to not include. So, maybe we can get a sequel? While I await part two of this quiz, you guys can play the original.
Number of Questions: 15

2) SNL Political Impressions (Multiple Choice)

Over the years, SNL has poked fun at a lot of political figures. From Ford to Trump, from Hillary to Bill, the show has made fun of just about anyone who has ever politicked. Of course, some impressions are more iconic than others. Many impressions have been forgotted over the years, either because they just weren't that great or because they didn't make enough appearances to make their mark. How many do you know?
Number of Questions: 20

3) Clickable Sporcle Quiz Show: SNL Celebrity Jeopardy

This is a much different SNL quiz than the other quizzes here, as it doesn't require any knowledge about the show at all. You can do well here even if you've never seen SNL before in your life. This one turns some silly categories from SNL's Celebrity Jeopardy segments into serious questions. And really, any quiz that can turn "Drummers Named Ringo" into a legitimate Jeopardy category deserves my undying admiration.
Number of Questions: 30

Sporcle Winter Quizzes of the Week: Olympics Edition

Last week's Valentine's Day edition went so well, the Winter Quizzes of the Week are back for one more episode, this time focusing on that Winter tradition that comes around ever four years: the Olympics.

1- Female Olympic Figure Skaters (Picture Click)

I love figure skating. Maybe a little too much. But that figure skating obsession was really benificial in creating this quiz, which helped end a lengthy quiz-making drought for me. The result was one of my favorite quizzes I've ever made, and an ode to my favorite sport. And don't worry if you don't know many answers. I made the quiz and even I have trouble with it.

2- Olympic Hosts Map Minefield

The last quiz was a test of your sports knowledge, and this is a little blast of geography, mixed with Olympic knowledge (obviously). Make sure to guess carefully, since a wrong guess ends the whole game. I learned that the hard way, incorrectly assuming that Denmark had hosted before. Spoiler alert: they haven't.
My Score: 21/23

3- Olympic Medal by Country

I got most of these by pure chance, but I still enjoyed it because I learned something from it. And also the medals are really pretty. Like, really pretty. And the United States' medal is also there. But beyond the pretty medals, the quiz is original and is one of my fovorite Olympics quizzes on the site.
My Score: 11/16

4- SNL - Olympic Athlete Impressions

And lastly, we've got a quiz that tests your TV knowledge, which makes it fitting for this site. I played it for the first time a few days ago and I gave is a curator's pick, and now I'm excited to share it here. It's defeinitely a favorite of mine since I love SNL, but even beyond that, it's a very fun quiz. You may be able to tell based on how often the quizzes are featured here, but I'm a sucker for a good picture click quiz, and this sure is a good one.
My Score: 23/24

Sporcle Winter Quizzes of the Week: Valentine’s Day Edition

Welcome to the first of two parts of the Sporcle Winter Quizzes of the Week! It's a special run of the Sporcle Quizzes of the Week to celebrate two February traditions: Valentine's Day and the Winter Olympics! This week will take on Valentine's Day, with next week's finale taking on the Winter Olympics. So sit back, relax, and let's play some love-ly quizzes!

1-TV Shows by Valentine's Day Scene

This is The TV Ratings Guide, so I always like to focus on TV as much as possible in this column. TV shows are well known for their holiday episodes, and Valentine's Day is no exception to that. The TV lovebirds are out in full force for the quintessential holiday of love.
My Score: 17/18

2- Valentine's Day Cards Missing a Word

Some of these are incredibly cute. Others incredibly corny. And some are just creepy. That's the magic with Valentines. There's almost a 90% chance that they'll be really terrible, but sometimes they're actually nice to read. I will admit that this quiz did make me smile a few times, but it also made me say "WTF???" a few times.
My Score: 13/20

3- When Valentine's Day Dates Other Holidays

This is my personal favorite on this list, as it's just incredibly clever. The quizmaker is incredibly talented, but this is one of my favorites of his that I've seen recently. It perfectly mixes Valentine's Day with other major holidays, and even has a fun title.
My Score: 20/20

4- Valentine's Day Candy Click

Well this is just a sweet little quiz, isn't it? It certainly isn't a very difficult one, especially if you've ever celebrated Valentine's Day before. So, it's easy for all people everywhere.
My Score: 19/20
