The Shannara Chronicles Canceled; Being Shopped to Other Networks

The Shannara Chronicles will not be returning for another season on Spike/Paramount. The show's journey has been a wild one thus far, originally starting its run on MTV in early 2016 before taking a lengthy hiatus and moving to Spike for season two in late 2017. The series received decent ratings in season one but understandable struggled to find an audience in its second go-round, leading to an expected decision. Below are the ratings for all of season two.

Off the chart, The Shannara Chronicles ended down with two episodes at 0.09/0.07. Stan Against Evil also ended down, with 0.07/0.05 halves. The Ingraham Angle on Fox News was down to 0.21, while CNN's Wolf was steady at 0.14. MSNBC's Velshi & Ruhle had a solid 0.13, but Morning Joe was down to 0.11 and Deadline: White House was down to a November low of 0.09.

The Shannara Chronicles hit a season high for one of its episodes and tied its old high with 0.12/0.1 for its two episodes. Stan Against Evil was also up, with 0.06/0.07 episodes. Deadline: White House was down to 0.13, while Velshi & Ruhle was down to 0.1 and Morning Joe was up to 0.13. Wolf on CNN sank to 0.13. The Ingraham Angle on Fox News was down to 0.24.

Mr. Robot ticked up to 0.22. MSNBC's Morning Joe was down to 0.12, while Deadline: White House was steady at 0.15 and Velshi & Ruhle ticked up to 0.11. Wolf on CNN was down to 0.18. Fox News's The Ingraham Angle came in at 0.24. Conan on TBS was up to 0.15.
