Lucifer Renewed for Sixth and Final Season

Despite planning on ending the show with the fifth season, Netflix has renewed Lucifer for a sixth season, with the show cheating death once again. Originally canceled by Fox in 2018, the show proved to be massively popular and had a Twitter campaign to save the show. It was picked up for season four the following month by Netflix. The fourth season was seemingly popular and the show was renewed for season five, but they announced that that would be the final season in June 2019. They then added episodes to season five's order, before rumors emerged that they were looking to extend the show's run. That is now official with the show's renewal for a sixth season, which they have promised will truly be its final season. Netflix hasn't announced an episode count for season six. Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, and Lesley-Ann Brandt star in the series and are all original cast members.

Lucifer Revived by Netflix

Over a month after its cancellation by Fox, Lucifer has been revived by streaming giant Netflix. The series was the subject of a huge fan campaign that seems to have paid off. The Tom Ellis-led fantasy procedural faced heavy declines in its third season, down more than 20% for a 0.8 average. This caused its cancellation by Fox, which made numerous notable cancellations this year, including Lucifer. The Netflix pickup is for a ten-episode fourth season, well below the massive 26-episode third season. Rachael Harris, Lauren German, and Lesley-Ann Brandt.

Lucifer Renewed by Fox for Season 3

Fox has renewed their procedural series Lucifer for a third season. The series, currently averaging a 1.1 in L+SD ratings, has done well for Fox. The show is currently on hiatus while freshman series APB airs. Fox has ordered 22 episodes, opposed to the 13 initially ordered for season 2. This is a correct prediction for the TV Ratings Guide.

Lucifer and Rosewood Renewed by FOX

It's just been announced that Lucifer and Rosewood have been renewed by FOX, per TVLine.

So far, Lucifer this season has a 1.54 A18-49 demo average in Live + Same Day, partially boosted by initial post-X Files airings. It has stabilized in the 1.2-1.3 range behind Gotham, with almost full
retention from its fellow DC-based show.

Rosewood has a 1.43 A18-49 demo rating, airing Wednesdays before Empire. Although it struggled to do better than a 0.9-1.0 demo without Empire as a lead-out, those are still seemingly acceptable ratings for FOX, and has since rebounded back to the mid 1s.
