CBS is bringing back on of its most iconic dramas. The long-running procedural CSI has been revived after six years off the air. The show ran from 2000 to 2015, airing for fifteen seasons before wrapping with a TV movie after its cancellation, and it remains one of the longest-running TV dramas of all-time. The original series ranked among the top 10 series on television in eleven of its seasons, rating as the #1 series for its third season. Original stars William Petersen, Jorja Fox and Wallace Langham are set to reprise their roles in the new series, titled CSI: Vegas. Matt Lauria, Paula Newsome, Mel Rodriguez and Mandeep Dhillon will join them for the new series. There have been rumos of a CSI revival for some time, but confirmation from CBS did not come until today.
