New drama 9-1-1: Nashville (0.29) had a solid start on ABC, almost fully retaining its 9-1-1 lead-in (0.30). At ten, Grey's Anatomy (0.27) appeared much healthier than it did in the spring. On NBC, Law & Order (0.20, -0.01) dipped, while SVU (0.21, -0.05) completely fell apart. CBS went with repeats of Georgie & Mandy (0.23), Ghosts (0.16), Matlock (0.10), and Elsbeth (0.07). On NBC, Law & Order (0.21, -0.02) and Law & Order: SVU (0.26, -0.02) dropped from returns that were already disappointing, and Organized Crime (0.20) occupied the 10 p.m. hour. ABC aired repeats of 9-1-1 (0.14/0.13/0.09) that were on par with CBS's encores of Elsbeth (0.14/0.13/0.09).
