It was an NFL-dominated Sunday, but a few other shows shone brightly. One of those shows is the Simpsons, which saw aa nice increase for its annual Treehouse of Horror episode, up three tenths to a fantastic 1.6. In front of it was another solid performer, Bob's Burgers. Bob's gained two tenths to give it a solid 1.3, the #2 Fox show of the night. The show has silently grown into one of Fox's strongest comedies, and its year-to-year trends are very impressive. Ghosted saw a smaller increase, up a tenth to 1.1. It's not nearly as promising as when it first premiered, but this is still a decent (if not great) performance. In the 9 o'clock hour, Family Guy and Last Man on Earth both held onto last week's numbers. Over on CBS, their night was certainly less good than Fox's, but we won't really get the full picture there until Finals come in because of Football-induced overruns. As of now, 60 Minutes saw an uptick of about 0.2, while Wisdom stayed steady. Wisdom isn't really performing too well, but it fits in well with CBS's other underperforming newbies. NCIS: LA was down a tenth at 9:30. Madam Secretary was preliminarily at a season high, but this is far from the whole picture as it aired well out of primetime. Either way, it's nearly certain to at least stay at last week's number. Over on ABC, Shark Tank took a nice-sized hit, down to 0.9 after three solid weeks. Everything else was steady for ABC.
Finals Update: Sunday Night Football: (+0.9), NCIS: LA (+0.1), and Shark Tank (+0.1) adjusted up. The Mick repeat (-0.2) and Madam Secretary (-0.1) adjusted down.
