Secrets & Lies: The 10-episode limited series finished up its 2nd season in the last week. The ratings were not impressive, even for Sundays and in ABC's current troubled drama slate. There are no hopes of getting it to syndication, and ABC would choose award-loved American Crime as filler over Secrets & Lies.
Quantico: What do you do when you have a drama in its second full season that's completely failing in a low-priority, troublesome timeslot? It turns out ABC's solution is to move Quantico to Mondays. This demonstrates that ABC wants Quantico to succeed, but I also believe that it means that they can't justify renewing it at its current levels, so I think it needs to improve more than the typical difference between Sunday and Monday-Thursday to be renewed. So, I think there is definitely the possibility of a renewal change in the future, but not at this time.
