Monday TV Ratings 11/25/24: Poppa’s House and Brilliant Minds Rise, NCIS: Origins Sinks to Another New Low, Holiday Baking Championship Also Collapses [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Poppa's House (0.35, +0.02) was up on CBS, but The Neighborhood (0.37, -0.03), NCIS (0.34, -0.03), and NCIS: Origins (0.22, -0.04) all declined. The Voice (0.44, +0.06) and Brilliant Minds (0.25, +0.08) surged on NBC. ABC's Ravens/Chargers NFL game (1.38) was down 5% from last week's. Fox aired repeats of 9-1-1: Lone Star (0.12) and Rescue: HI-Surf (0.09). Superman & Lois (0.06, 0.00) matched its week-ago episode on the CW, but Totally Funny Animals (0.03, -0.01) and Totally Funny Kids (0.02, -0.01) dipped. Monday TV Ratings 11/18/24: Rescue: HI-Surf Rises for Midseason Finale, Holiday Baking Championship Jumps Again, The Voice Hits Monday Season Low [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Fox drama Rescue HI-Surf (0.18, +0.04) was up for its midseason finale, even as its 9-1-1: Lone Star lead-in (0.23, -0.04) dropped to a new low. On NBC, The Voice (0.38, -0.06) and Brilliant Minds (0.17, -0.02) both declined. ABC's Texans/Cowboys NFL game (1.46) was the top-rated program on broadcast. CBS went with repeat showings of The Neighborhood (0.25), Poppa's House (0.22), and NCIS (0.21). At 10:30, The Making of Gladiator II (0.13) underwhelmed behind a second Neighborhood rerun (0.17). Superman & Lois (0.06, -0.02) slipped on the CW. Original installments of Totally Funny Animals (0.04) and Totally Funny Kids (0.03) followed. Key: (R) = repeat.

Monday TV Ratings 10/14/24: NCIS: Origins Off to OK Start, NCIS Returns Steady, Brilliant Minds Slides [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: New drama NCIS: Origins (0.33) got off to an acceptable start on CBS. The prequel series lost a tenth from its NCIS lead-in (0.43) but easily outpaced the drama offerings on the other networks. 9-1-1: Lone Star (0.28, +0.01) ticked up on Fox, but Rescue: HI-Surf (0.16, -0.02) dipped in the 9 p.m. hour. The Voice (0.43, -0.03) and Brilliant Minds (0.22, -0.05) slipped on NBC, as did the CW's Superman & Lois (0.05, -0.02). ABC's Bills/Jets NFL game (1.55) topped broadcast. Key: (P) = premiere.

Monday TV Ratings 10/7/24: 60 Minutes Election Special Strong, Dancing with the Stars Drops for Monday Airing, What Would You Do? Starts Low [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: The 60 Minutes election special (0.48) put up a respectable rating on CBS, and The Price Is Right At Night (0.32, +0.06) seemed to benefit as a result. Dancing with the Stars (0.56, -0.20) lost two-tenths for its first Monday episode but was still the top-rated program on broadcast. Later in the night, ABC aired the season premiere of What Would You Do? (0.21), but its retention of Dancing was noticeably poor. The Voice (0.46, -0.03) slipped on NBC, but Brilliant Minds (0.27, 0.00) held even. 9-1-1: Lone Star (0.27, +0.03) and Rescue: HI-Surf (0.18, +0.01) recovered on Fox. The CW aired the season premiere of Superman & Lois (0.06/0.07). Key: (P) = premiere. (R) = repeat.

Tuesday TV Ratings 6/27/23: Daughter of the Bride Abysmal on Fox, Gotham Knights Ends on New Low, America’s Got Talent and Hot Wheels Also Slip (UPDATED)


Ratings Analysis: CW drama 'Gotham Knights' (0.03, -0.01) ended its run with a new series low, even as 'Superman & Lois' (0.10, +0.01) picked up a hundredth for its closer. Fox barely managed to rise above The CW's 8 p.m. offering with its broadcast of 2023 film 'Daughter of the Bride' (0.12). This rating is almost 50% lower than what the already meager 'Beat Shazam' (0.23) managed in this slot last week. On NBC, 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge' (0.25, -0.06) plunged to a new low in the 10 p.m. hour. 'America's Got Talent' (0.65, -0.01) shed a hundredth at 8. ABC had strong repeats of 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' (0.38) and 'Celebrity Jeopardy!' (0.30), but the 10 p.m. encore of 'Claim to Fame' (0.15) could not keep up with the other two. CBS improved as the evening progressed with repeats of 'FBI: International' (0.22), 'FBI' (0.25), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.28).

Finals Update: The repeat of 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' (+0.1) adjusted up.
