Fox had The OT (1.88) at its disposal once more, but it was a much weaker version than last week, so only a reshuffled Universal Basic Guys (0.62, +0.16) was able to rise in its move back to the 8 p.m. slot. The Simpsons (0.31, -0.62) collapsed at 8:30, and Krapopolis (0.17, -0.12) dealt with a sharp decline at nine, but Bob's Burgers (0.24, -0.02) was a little more resilient. With the help of its own NFL lead-in, 60 Minutes (1.07, +0.68) soared on CBS, but the growth was much more subtle with Tracker (0.51, +0.10) and The Road (0.21, +0.08). CBS's 60 Minutes (0.39, -0.74), Tracker (0.41, -0.07), and The Road (0.13, -0.09) were all in the red. NFL on NBC (4.58) improved on the week-ago game. New holiday special Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol (0.23) posted a decent rating on Sunday night, even if it declined from the rerun of Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice (0.24) that led into it. ABC also re-aired the original Prep & Landing (0.23), Olaf's Frozen Adventure (0.21), and Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (0.16). At seven, America's Funniest Home Videos (0.39, +0.15) surged. On CBS, an NFL-boosted 60 Minutes (1.13, +0.73), Tracker (0.48, +0.06), and The Road (0.22, +0.08) all rose. Animated sitcoms The Simpsons (0.28, -0.39) and Universal Basic Guys (0.20, -1.09) were left to stand on their own on Fox, so their numbers reverted to non-overrun levels. Fox sitcom Universal Basic Guys (1.29, +1.13) was once more sent to the 8 p.m. slot, this time surging to a new series high thanks to some increased NFL help. The Simpsons (0.67, +0.44) retained a little more than half of Basic Guys at 8:30, but Krapopolis (0.32, +0.19) was in the sub-50% retention range at nine. Bob's Burgers (0.28, -0.03) dipped. On CBS, 60 Minutes (0.40, -0.89) was way down from last week's football-boosted installment. Tracker (0.42, -0.14), and The Road (0.14, -0.11) also declined. America's Funniest Home Videos (0.24, -0.07) slipped on ABC, but Zootopia (0.18) still posted a higher rating than the previous movie of the week. NFL on NBC (3.96) was down but strong.
