The Enemy Within Canceled by NBC

After one season, NBC has canceled The Enemy Within. The show occupied the Monday at 10 PM slot, where it has averaged a low 0.74. While this is higher than many of NBC's new midseason entries, only trailing realities AGT: The Champions and The Titan Games, that still wasn't enough to get another season. The CIA drama starred Jennifer Carpenter, Morris Chestnut, and Raza Jaffrey. The series finale aired on May 20. This was a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

Abby's: The lowest-rated sitcom on all of the big 4 somehow fell even lower last week with a barely-there 0.3. Even given the 0.5 lead-in it has to endure, that's one of the most pathetic performances I've ever seen from any show. Even NBC won't renew something performing that poorly, even with their history of renewing midseason flop comedies. It's now a CERTAIN CANCELLATION. Odds of renewal: 1%

AP Bio: A questionable renewal in the first place, AP Bio is performing even worse this time around. It was at least steady all season, before it finally hit 0.4 last week. That 0.4 didn't magically change its future, because it was always pretty dead. If it has an episode count of more than 9 episodes this season, it'll already spill over into Summer, so it's already apparent that the ratings won't get prettier from here. I find it hard to imagine that NBC will give it another shot, especially when the huge amount of promotion this season didn't do anything for it this time. Odds of renewal: 5%

Blindspot: NBC pulled this low-rated veteran from its schedule for the remainder of May Sweeps, opting to burn off the remaining three episodes of the show after the season is officially done. It's painfully clear that NBC is done with the show and has absolutely no intention of granting it another season, not even a short one. I'm dropping it to a CERTAIN CANCELLATION. Odds of renewal: 0%

The Enemy Within: Despite a somewhat-promising start, this new drama has absolutely collapsed and is now one of NBC's worst-performing 10 PM dramas. Unlike Good Girls, this bomb doesn't even have a huge Netflix deal to help it across the finish line. NBC has generally been more lenient than other networks when it comes to newbies, but I doubt that a show doing this poorly in such a good slot will be back. Odds of renewal: 25%

I Feel Bad: It's long been known that this show is dead. Not getting a backorder was telling enough, but NBC also went and burned off the last episodes of its first season in late December. You can't blame them for that. It was an absolute, indisputable bomb, falling almost as low as Abby's even before the burnoff. There's no way it comes back. Odds of renewal: 0%

Saturday Night Live: The longest-running scripted program on the NBC lineup is also one of their highest-rated, even though it airs at 11:30 on a Saturday. There isn't much to say about it that I haven't already said. Odds of renewal: 100%

This Is Us: The only surprising thing about this show's inevitable renewal is that it's taken so long. Odds of renewal: 100%

The Village: It's been a wild season for NBC's midseason Tuesday drama, as it has aired in three different times lots with just seven episodes aired so far. It hasn't done well in any of those timeslots. It bombed at 10 behind This Is Us, did just as poorly at 9 after The Voice (while simultaneously dragging down New Amsterdam), and is doing poorly at 8, too. NBC has given this show many chances, and gave it two strong lead-ins, and never has it show anything resembling potential. I see very little reason for NBC to renew this flop. Odds of renewal: 15%
