Just hours after announcing Batwoman's cancellation, another CW superhero drama has gotten the axe. Veteran DC property Legends of Tomorrow has been canceled after a seven-season CW run, bringing the network's Arrowverse franchise to just two shows now. LOT was one of the network's longest-running programs currently airing this season, second only to The Flash. The series, like Batwoman, rated towards the middle of the CW ratings pack, with a 0.09 average. That was a 6% increase from its sixth season, though that was not enough to save the aging series during a transitionary period for its home network. Caity Lotz, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Jessica Macallan and Olivia Swann were among the stars of the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

Wednesday TV Ratings 1/26/22: The Amazing Race Back Down Again, Let’s Make a Deal Primetime Leads the Night, Good Sam Inches Up (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: CBS's primetime edition of 'Let's Make a Deal' (0.60) led the evening and went nearly a tenth higher than the last time it aired (0.51) back in early 2021. Despite that, it was a little more than a tenth below the week-ago 'Price Is Right' (0.74), 'The Amazing Race' (0.58, -0.09) was a tenth shy of its last episode, but 'Good Sam' (0.29, +0.01) gained a hundredth at 10. Fox's 'I Can See Your Voice' (0.38) tied what it garnered the Wednesday prior, but 'Next Level Chef' (0.46, -0.01) lost a tick in the 9PM timeslot. NBC's repeats of 'Chicago Med' (0.43), 'Chicago Fire' (0.43), and 'Chicago PD' (0.40) were markedly stronger than ABC's encores of 'The Goldbergs' (0.38), 'The Wonder Years' (0.25), 'The Conners' (0.28), 'Home Economics' (0.20), and 'The Chase' (0.19). In CW news, 'Legends of Tomorrow' (0.11, +0.02) tied its season high and 'Batwoman' (0.10, +0.03) rose to a new one.
Finals Update: 'The Amazing Race' (+0.1), 'Next Level Chef' (+0.1), and the repeat of 'The Wonder Years' (+0.1) adjusted up.
Wednesday TV Ratings 11/24/21: SNL Thanksgiving Above 2020 Showing, Survivor Leads, CSI: Vegas Scores Season High (UPDATED)
Ratings Analysis: With the majority of shows in repeat-mode on the eve of Thanksgiving, 'Survivor' (0.99, +0.05) picked up five-hundredths and led CBS to an easy victory. 'Tough As Nails' (0.49, +0.10) and 'CSI: Vegas' (0.49, +0.06) enjoyed even bigger gains in the back-half of the evening, with 'Vegas' flat-out hitting a new series high. On NBC, 'An SNL Thanksgiving' (0.59) was nearly a full tenth above what it garnered in 2020 (0.5). Much of that could be chalked up to the fact that the 'Chicago Med' rerun (0.35) that led into it was significantly higher than its year-ago 'Women of Worth' lead-in (0.2). The CW's 'Legends of Tomorrow' (0.07, -0.01) shed a hundredth while 'Batwoman' (0.09, +0.01) rose by one. ABC had repeats of 'The Goldbergs' (0.37), 'The Wonder Years' (0.28), 'The Conners' (0.27), 'Home Economics' (0.18), and 'The Queen Family Singalong' (0.16). Fox went with encores of 'The Masked Singer' (0.34) and 'Alter Ego' (0.20).
Finals Update: 'Survivor' (+0.1), 'SNL Thanksgiving' (+0.1), 'Tough As Nails' (+0.1), 'CSI: Vegas' (+0.1), and repeats of 'The Goldbergs' (+0.1), 'The Wonder Years' (0.1), 'The Conners' (+0.1), 'The Queen Family Singalong' (+0.1), and 'Chicago Med' (+0.1) adjusted up.
