With the cancellation of Grosse Pointe Garden Society last week, all of NBC's shows have now had their fates announced, which means it's time for much-delayed wrap-up of the 2024-25 NBC season! Keep reading for my look at what went right, and what went wrong, as I a attempted to predict NBC this season!
Ratings Analysis: After months off the air, Fox brought Bob's Burgers (0.15, -0.22) back for a one-off Sunday showing before its move to Thursday nights. Naturally, the long-running cartoon crashed to a new low, but Bob's still beat the Krapopolis finale (0.11, -0.04) that led into it. Earlier in the night, The Simpsons (0.13, -0.04) dropped to a new series low for its finale, while Family Guy (0.19, -0.01) dipped slightly. On ABC, American Idol (0.72, +0.10) picked up a tenth on finale night, while Funniest Home Videos (0.46, -0.04) declined. 60 Minutes (0.49, +0.10) also gained a tenth on CBS. NBC's Suits LA (0.10, -0.02) weakened on series finale night. The CW went with the 1995 film Clueless (0.04). Key: (R) = repeat. (F) = finale.
Ratings Analysis: Though 60 Minutes (0.39, -0.04) declined, CBS drama Tracker (0.50, +0.12) soared for its season finale. Watson (0.24, -0.02), however, dipped at nine. America's Funniest Home Videos (0.50, +0.08) and American Idol (0.62, +0.05) rose on ABC, but The $100,000 Pyramid (0.19, -0.01) ticked down. NBC's Suits LA (0.12, -0.02) also slipped. On Fox, The Simpsons (0.17, +0.02), Family Guy (0.20, +0.01), Krapopolis (0.15, +0.04), and The Great North (0.15, +0.04) were all up. The CW aired the film Maid in Manhattan (0.04). Court is adjourned in Los Angeles, as Suits LA has been canceled after a single season. The spinoff of the long-running USA drama Suits, which saw a massive popularity boost on Netflix in recent years, was a very low-rated entry on the NBC lineup, averaging just 0.17 in the key demo, and dropping as low as 0.10. The series seemed to struggle in delayed viewing and on Peacock as well, rarely seeing any traction on the streamer's top ten chart. It is the first of NBC's freshman slate to be canceled, with Grosse Pointe Garden Society, The Hunting Party and Brilliant Minds all still awaiting renewal decisions, and was a miss for TVRG's NBC Renew/Cancel. The series finale of the series will air May 18. Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg starred in the series, while Suits stars Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman returned in recurring and guest capacities. It is the second Suits spinoff to be canceled after a single season, after Pearson.

America's Funniest Home Videos (0.42, -0.25) dealt with a steep drop on ABC, but American Idol (0.57, +0.04) beat its week-ago installment. Time100 (0.17) did not impress at ten. Suits LA (0.14, +0.04) bounced back on NBC. The Simpsons (0.15, -0.01), Krapopolis (0.11, -0.04), and The Great North (0.11, -0.04) all declined on Fox, but Family Guy (0.19, +0.01) ticked up.
