One of those is a series premiere, ABC's Stumptown, while the other is a season premiere, Fox's two-hour launch of The Masked Singer. While not a series premiere, The Masked Singer is one of the buzziest premieres this week. It was a cultural phenomenon during season one, with a 2.6 average, going as high as a 3.6 for the finale. It now returns in the fall and at 8 PM, two situations it didn't experience last time around. Meanwhile, ABC's Stumptown will have its series premiere at 10. A weak Single Parents lead-in and the 10 PM timeslot both point to signs of trouble for the show, but it's been one of the stronger new shows on social media and has received heavy promotion from the network.
