APB Canceled by FOX

FOX has canceled police procedural APB after one season. While the show did a decent job at holding onto the ratings of its 24: Legacy lead-in, it was fractional in Live + Same Day A18-49 for most of its run. Here are its ratings below.

TV Ratings 4/24/17: Gotham, Supergirl, and Jane Return With Series Lows (UPDATED)

Monday night saw a few returns of some old faces and (what is likely to be) a series finale). Fox had Gotham's return, and it was not a triumphant one. The series returned to a new series low after about three months off, though it was still an improvement over what 24: Legacy had been doing in its last few weeks. APB limped across the finish line, though it was up a tenth with the improved lead-in. It is likely that there will be a time-slot improvement when the already-renewed Lucifer returns next week. The CW was in repeats for quite a bit, and last night was the return of Supergirl and Jane the Virgin. That worked about as well for them as it did for Gotham. Both returned with series lows, with Jane posting a terrible 0.2 and Supergirl hitting a 0.5. NBC's The Voice and Taken both ticked down another tenth each. On ABC, Dancing With the Stars was down after the boost from Disney week, though Quantico was up a tenth. CBS was in repeats all night.

Finals Update: Gotham (+0.1) adjusted up to avoid a new series low. Quantico (-0.1) and a Scorpion repeat (-0.1) adjusted down.

TV Ratings 4/17/17: 2 Broke Girls and 24: Legacy End Steady (UPDATED)

Monday night was another relatively decent night, with most shows avoiding series lows, though many were still near or tying lows. Kevin Can Wait do manage to hit a new series low, dipping two tenths to a 1.0. Man With a Plan and Superior Donuts were steady at 1.0, as was the season (and potentially series) finale of 2 Broke Girls. It wasn't all bad for CBS, as Scorpion ticked up from last week's low. Dancing With the Stars had their Disney night, which helped the show tick up a bit. A higher lead-in did not help Quantico, which stayed stuck at 0.6. On NBC, the Voice lost another tenth as they went live, though Taken ticked up. Fox's 24: Legacy went out with a whimper, delivering another 0.8, which lead into another 0.6 from APB.

TV Ratings 4/10/17: Quantico Stays Low, Scorpion Returns at Series Low (UPDATED)

There were some additional dips this Monday, but nothing very notable like last week. The Voice continued to slide, down a tenth or two (depending on unrounded numbers) from last week. Following it, Taken was steady at last week's low 0.8. Dancing With the Stars was pretty steady with last week, and so was Quantico. Fox also held steady. The CBS shows returned from a few weeks off, and all but Superior Donuts and Scorpion were steady. Scorpion returned to a series low 1.0, but still lead its time slot comfortably and was steady with most of the lineup.

TV Ratings 4/3/17: The Voice Slips Again, NCAA Dominates, 10 PM Dramas Go Lower (UPDATED)

Monday night was the NCAA Championship, and the networks were noticeably impacted. The Voice, NBC's reality staple, was down three tenths from last week, now down a whole point from its premiere. Lead out Taken also ticked down, typing its series low of 0.9. Fox stayed fractional all night, though 24: Legacy dipped a tenth to tie its low, while APB was steady. Dancing With the Stars was down roughly two tenths, while Quantico was a tenth below last week's finals. CBS easily won the night, with the NCAA Championship about a 5.6. A repeat of The Big Bang Theory was also noticeably stronger than last week's, tying last week's original.

Finals Update: A Big Bang Theory repeat (-1.4), Championship Central (-0.7), and Taken (-0.1) adjusted down. The Voice (+0.1) adjusted up. The NCAA Championship pulled a 7.1 in the finals.
