Saturday TV Ratings 8/29/26: CW Draws Huge Ratings for New Mexico State/Florida State College Football Game, MLB Leads, Much About Love Solid on Hallmark [+ Analysis]
The CW became a highly competitive network on Saturday night, as its college football broadcast (0.48) beat NASCAR on NBC (0.44) and ABC's college football (0.20) in the key demographic. But it was ultimately MLB on Fox (0.6) that won out overall. CBS's 48 Hours repeat (0.15) proved to be a bigger draw than repeats of Big Brother (0.07) and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage (0.07). Wednesday TV Ratings 8/26/26: Jeopardy! Masters Jumps on Second Night, Dolly Parton Specials Strong on NBC and CW, Big Brother Leads [+ Analysis]
On ABC, Jeopardy! Masters (0.37, +0.11) soared well above Tuesday's already solid return, but it was still no match for CBS's Big Brother (0.65, -0.03). America's Got Talent (0.31, +0.01) was up from last Wednesday on NBC, and a Dolly Parton special that followed (0.29) proved to be a strong option. The Floor (0.25, -0.01) ticked down for its finale on Fox, but it was still comfortably above Brilliant Minds (0.17, +0.01) on NBC, despite the latter rising slightly from last week. In sports news, game four of the NBA Finals (5.98, -0.46) was down from game three, but it was more than enough to put ABC above the other networks in the key demographic. CBS aired repeats of Harlan Coben's Final Twist (0.13), Boston Blue (0.07), and FBI (0.06). The CW went with encores of Police 24/7 (0.02) and Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent (0.01).
