Monday TV Ratings 9/18/23: Academy of Country Music Honors Weak, American Ninja Warrior Special Decent, NFL Jumps (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The 'Browns v. Steelers' NFL game (4.16) impressed on ABC by going more than a full point higher than the week-ago 'Bills v. Jets' match-up (2.41) in the Adults 18-49 demographic. On NBC, an 'American Ninja Warrior: Couple's Special' (0.27) was four-hundredths lower than last week's 'Warrior' finale but still topped all non-football offerings. The 10 p.m. hour was occupied by a rerun of 'Weakest Link' (0.16). Fox's broadcast of the 'Academy of Country Music Honors' (0.15) attracted very little fanfare. 'Son of a Critch' (0.04, -0.01) and 'Children Ruin Everything' (0.03, -0.02) slipped on the CW, but 'Run the Burbs' (0.04, +0.02) grew by two-hundredths. The 9:30 p.m. 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' repeat (0.03) was a hundredth short of last week's. CBS went with more encores of 'The Neighborhood' (0.25), 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.19), 'NCIS: Hawai'i' (0.13), and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.12).

Finals Update: 'NFL: Browns v. Steelers' (+1.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 9/13/22: Academy of Country Music Honors Extremely Low, The Bachelorette Tops America’s Got Talent as Both Hit Season Highs (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: It was a rare Summer Tuesday night in which America's Got Talent (0.79, +0.06 did not lead the way, with the first half of the summer juggernaut's season finale taking second overall for the night despite hitting a new season high, leading into a new Password (0.47, -0.03), which slipped a minor amount after a week off. The Bachelorette (+0.89), was the night's leader, in its second of three Tuesday night airings this season. The dating reality staple rose an extremely-impressive two tenths and hit what is easily a new season high, notching its smallest year-to-year decline of the season. Bachelorette led into a weak repeat of Celebrity Family Feud (0.24), which began airing at 10:15. Fox had a night-long ACM Honors (0.24), which drew little interest. The airing comes a week before the time slot debut of country music drama Monarch. CBS again aired repeats of its Tuesday FBI lineup (0.37/0.31/0.31), experiencing minor gains across the night. The CW came in the rear, as always, with import dramas Leonardo (0.05, -0.02) and Devils (0.04, +0.1).

Finals Update: The Bachelorette (+0.1), America's Got Talent (+0.1) and the repeat of FBI (+0.1) adjusted up. The repeat of Celebrity Family Feud (-0.2) adjusted down.

CBS's drama repeat line-up took the night off in favor of an original Big Brother (1.2). It performed significantly lower than the last times it aired on Friday (1.4 on 8/18/17 and 1.5 on 7/21/17) but was still the top program of the night. It led into the 11th Annual ACM Honors (0.6/0.7) which pulled in acceptable numbers.

ABC had a repeat of Sunday-bound Shark Tank (0.6) leading into steady originals of What Would You Do? (0.6) and 20/20 (0.6).

NBC had a steady Dateline (0.9) leading out of an AGT encore (0.7/0.8).

Fox had repeats of MasterChef (0.4) and Beat Shazam (0.4).

The CW had 0.3s across the board with an original Masters of Illusion and repeats.

TV Ratings 4/2/17: Match Game Returns Low, ACMs Down, The Simpsons Fractional (UPDATED)

Sunday night was a rough night for the networks. CBS had the best night with the ACM Awards, though they were down a bit. 60 Minutes took a huge 1 point and 4 tenths drop with no NCAA to help it, though it still easily won the 7 PM hour and was the #2 regularly scheduled program. NBC's Little Big Shots also has a rough drop, down five tenths. It lead into a fractional Chicago Justice and a series low Shades of Blue, both down a tenth. ABC was up a bit, but things were still ugly. Match Game improved on Time After Time, but returned to a new low. American Crime was helped out by the higher lead in, though it was still at pull-me-now ratings. Once Upon a Time dipped again to tie its series low. ABC's bright spot was an AFHV repeat at 7. Fox also had a terrible night, with Bob;s Burgers down two tenths from last week and The Simpsons hitting a series low. Making History also hit a new low, and The Last Man on Earth was down a tenth with Family Guy in repeats.

Finals Update: Little Big Shots (+0.1) adjusted up.
