TV Ratings 7/19/17: MasterChef Ticks Up, Forever Young Hits New Low, Salvation Steady (UPDATED)

It was a night of many sub-1 ratings last night, with just two shows managing to crack a 1.0 this Wednesday. Big Brother was one of those shows. The long-running reality hit ticked down a tenth but still won the night by a huge margin. Its lead-out, however, was certainly not setting the world on fire. Salvation did get some good news, though. The freshman flop stayed steady at 0.7 after last week's weak debut. The Criminal Minds repeat at 10 was up a tenth. Over on Fox, MasterChef tied its season high, up a tenth from last week. The F Word managed to be less of a flop this week, as it ticked up a tenth to a (still pretty poor) 0.7. NBC had a rough start to the night, with Forever Young ticking down two tenths to a 0.8. The Carmichael show was steady at a 0.7. ABC and The CW had low-rated repeats, with both CW shows at 0.2 and most ABC shows at 0.6.

Finals Update: Big Brother (+0.1) and a repeat of the Goldbergs (+0.1) adjusted up.
