Monday TV Ratings 5/20/24: Pope Francis Interview Flops, So You Think You Can Dance Hits New Low for Finale, The Voice and Jeopardy! Masters Lead [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: A Pope Francis interview on CBS managed a meager 0.17 rating and dropped noticeably from the NCIS rerun (0.25) that led into it. Earlier in the night, The Price Is Right At Night (0.35) placed third in its 8 PM time slot. On Fox, MasterChef Junior (0.24, -0.01) and So You Think You Can Dance (0.10, -0.03) declined for their respective finales. Jeopardy! Masters (0.41, +0.12) bounced back on ABC and led into repeats of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.26) and Press Your Luck (0.20). NBC's The Voice (0.41, +0.02) inched up, while Weakest Link (0.27, -0.03) weakened. On the CW, All American (0.09, -0.02) slipped. 

Monday TV Ratings 5/13/24: Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Rises for Pat Sajak’s Final Episode, Deal or No Deal Island Also Ends Higher, The Voice and SYTYCD Slip [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: ABC's Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.32, +0.02) inched up for a season finale that doubled as Pat Sajak's final episode as host. Earlier in the evening, Jeopardy! Masters (0.42, +0.12) rebounded after Friday's poor showing. The Voice (0.39, -0.02) dipped on NBC, but Deal or No Deal Island (0.32, +0.02) was up for its finale. MasterChef Junior (0.25, +0.02) improved on Fox, while So You Think You Can Dance (0.13, -0.01) lost a hundredth. CBS re-ran Young Sheldon (0.27/0.25), NCIS (0.20), and NCIS: Hawai'i (0.20). All American (0.11, -0.01) ticked down on the CW.

Monday TV Ratings 3/25/24: The Bachelor Hits Multi-Season High for Finale, The Neighborhood Also Rises, The Voice and NCIS Slide (Final Ratings w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's The Bachelor (0.80, +0.21) soared to a multi-season high on finale night and was over two-tenths higher than it was last week. CBS's sitcoms stood strong against the Bachelor surge, as The Neighborhood (0.49, +0.07) and Bob Hearts Abishola (0.35, +0.07) were both way up when compared to their last episodes. However, dramas NCIS (0.36, -0.09) and NCIS: Hawai'i (0.30, -0.10) completely collapsed. The Voice (0.42, -0.11) and Deal or No Deal Island (0.26, -0.07) also crumbled on NBC. Fox was up with MasterChef Junior (0.29, +0.01) but down with So You Think You Can Dance (0.15, -0.03). Ride (0.03, -0.01) lost a hundredth for its CW finale.

Monday TV Ratings 3/18/24: Oprah Weight Loss Revolution Special Strong, The Bachelor Slides but Still Leads, Bob Hearts Abishola Hits Another New Low (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Oprah Winfrey's weight loss special (0.43) proved to be a ratings winner for ABC, even though it was over two-tenths lower than last week's Bachelor. The Bachelor itself (0.59, -0.09) took a hit, likely due to being bumped up an hour, but was still the night's top broadcast. On NBC, The Voice (0.53, +0.01) and Deal or No Deal Island (0.33, +0.01) were both up by a hundredth. Bob Hearts Abishola (0.28, -0.02) slipped to another new low on CBS, possibly because its Neighborhood lead-in (0.30) was in repeat-mode. MasterChef Junior (0.28, +0.03) and So You Think You Can Dance (0.18, +0.05) climbed higher on Fox. The CW was also up with Ride (0.04, +0.02).

Monday TV Ratings 3/11/24: Bob Hearts Abishola Sinks to New Low, Deal or No Deal Island Rebounds, The Bachelor Continues to Lead (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Though The Neighborhood (0.42, +0.02) was actually up from the last time it aired, CBS's Bob Hearts Abishola (0.30, -0.08) crashed to a new low in the 8:30 time slot. On NBC, Deal or No Deal Island (0.32, +0.07) staged quite a comeback after its week-ago tumble, even though The Voice (0.52, +0.01) was only a hundredth higher than last week. The Bachelor (0.68, -0.01) shed a hundredth on ABC and led into the finale of Bad Romance (0.22, -0.03). MasterChef Junior (0.25, -0.03) and So You Think You Can Dance (0.13, -0.03) slipped on Fox, as did Ride (0.02, -0.01) on the CW.
