Thursday TV Ratings 3/10/22: B Positive Dips For Finale, Law & Order and Young Sheldon Rise (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: After taking an unsettling plunge in its second week, NBC's 'Law & Order' reboot (0.54, +0.04) rebounded a bit for episode three. 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (0.52, +0.04) rose by the same amount at 10 while 'Law & Order: SVU' (0.65) held steady in-between. On ABC, 'Station 19' (0.61, -0.07), 'Grey's Anatomy' (0.61, -0.02), and 'Big Sky' (0.27, -0.02) all dropped on a week-to-week basis. CBS's 'B Positive' (0.40, -0.05) shed five-hundredths for a finale that aired thirty minutes earlier than it normally does. A rerun of 'Ghosts' (0.31) and a rising 'Bull' (0.36, +0.04) came after it while 'Young Sheldon' (0.62, +0.02) and 'United States of Al' (0.48, +0.13) preceded 'Positive'. Fox made gains across the board with the 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer' finale (0.36, +0.10), 'Call Me Kat' (0.25, +0.05), and the season closer of 'Pivoting' (0.18, +0.03). 'Walker' (0.11, -0.01) and 'Legacies' (0.04, -0.04) slipped on the CW, with the latter posting a new series low.
Finals Update: 'Joe Millionaire' (+0.1), 'Bull' (+0.1), 'Law & Order: SVU' (+0.1), and 'Call Me Kat' (+0.1) adjusted up. 'Legacies' (-0.1) adjusted down.
Thursday TV Ratings 2/17/22: Winter Olympics Tick Back Up, Jeopardy! National College Championship Also Rises, Call Me Kat Slips (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Though it remained a far cry from its 2018 levels, the '2022 Winter Olympics' (1.38, +0.20) gained two-tenths on NBC and outperformed Wednesday's unsettling low. ABC's 'Jeopardy! National College Championship' (0.61, +0.09) grew by a tenth and led into low-rated encores of 'Grey's Anatomy' (0.24) and 'Big Sky' (0.15). On Fox, 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer' (0.31, +0.05) was up by five-hundredths, but sitcoms 'Call Me Kat' (0.30, -0.05) and 'Pivoting' (0.18, -0.06) crumbled. CBS had reruns of 'Young Sheldon' (0.44), 'United States of Al' (0.35), 'Ghosts' (0.33), 'B Positive' (0.30), and 'Bull' (0.21). The CW aired encores of 'Walker' (0.07) and 'Legacies' (0.04).

Ratings Analysis: The '2022 Winter Olympics' (2.15, +0.34) climbed to its highest rating yet and passed the 2.0 threshold for the second time, helping NBC win the night once more. The third outing of ABC's 'Jeopardy! National College Championship' (0.60, +0.06) improved from Wednesday and led into an 'NFL Honors' broadcast (0.44) that was five-hundredths short of the 2021 telecast (0.49). On Fox, 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer' (0.26, -0.06) crashed to a new low, but sitcoms 'Call Me Kat' (0.35, +0.03) and 'Pivoting' (0.24, +0.04) gained a few hundredths. CBS had reruns of 'Young Sheldon' (0.38), 'United States of Al' (0.27), 'Ghosts' (0.25), 'B Positive' (0.23), and 'Bull' (0.19), with each one posting a lower rating than the previous. Encores of 'Walker' (0.06) and 'Legacies' (0.04) made up the CW's lineup.
