Fox's Next Level Baker (0.11) made no noise on series premiere night, declining sharply from an already sinking Hell's Kitchen (0.17, -0.06). On NBC, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (0.35) and Frosty the Snowman (0.34) posted strong ratings, with Grinch topping the night in the key demo. On CBS, Georgie & Mandy (0.34, -0.08) and Ghosts (0.33, -0.03) slipped, while Matlock (0.27, +0.01) inched up. Elsbeth (0.20, 0.00) was steady. Ratings Analysis: In a one-off move to the 8 p.m. time slot, CBS's Ghosts (0.45, +0.09) soared to its highest rating since October. At 9, Nate Bargatze's Nashville Christmas (0.32) performed reasonably well, but Elsbeth (0.20, -0.03) still dropped to a new series low at 10. On ABC, The Great Christmas Light Fight (0.24, +0.01) inched up for its finale and led into a 20/20 special about Luigi Mangione (0.21). NBC aired repeats of Little Big Town's Christmas at the Opry (0.16) and Barry Manilow's A Very Barry Christmas (0.14). Fox went with a rerun of Hell's Kitchen (0.13). On NBC, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (0.36) remained healthy in its second 2024 showing, but the E! News special that followed (0.18) retained just half of its lead-in.
