A week of soaring ratings continues!
ABC saw perhaps the most impressive gains, with Grey's Anatomy nearing megahit numbers at 9 with a 1.5, up three tenths and hitting its highest rating since September. Grey's is down a pretty large amount this season, but this is its most impressive year-to-year trend, down only 4%. Station 19 was also pretty impressive, gaining two tenths a tying its series high from October 2018. The show has had a massive ratings renaissance this year, up 8%, and this episode is up an astonishing 69% from the year-ago rating. At 10, it was a less impressive result for A Million Little Things, up only a tenth despite the heavily-increased lead-in, with a rating in-line with its season average but far worse retention than usual.
NBC also had some impressive ratings feats. Superstore returned from a hiatus up three tenths, a tenth ahead of its season-high and up a notch from last year's rating. Behind it, Brooklyn Nine-Nine rose another tenth, tying its season high. It doesn't look as impressive considering that it had been on the rise in prior weeks behind Superstore repeats, but it's still doing a lot better now than it was earlier in the season. Will & Grace easily hit a new season-high, up two tenths from both its last episode and its season high. This hasn't been an impressive final season for Will & Grace ratings-wise, but this week's rating is up 19% from last season, its first time not posting a double-digit loss. Indebted gained a tenth at 9:30, hitting a new series high. A coronavirus-related special at 10 posted a strong 0.9, ahead of anything SVU has done all season but two tenths shy of the 20/20 coronavirus special earlier this week.
Fox's gains weren't quite as noticeable. Last Man Standing was up two tenths from its series low to a 0.8, ahead of its season average. Outmatched was only up a tenth behind it, and Deputy was also up a tenth. Neither one of their gains is terribly strong, but their ratings last night are both ahead of their season averages, just like Last Man Standing.
The CW's Katy Keene and Legacies both held steady, with Katy Keene losing to repeats that aired earlier in the week.
CBS had repeats at 0.8/0.7/0.7/0.5/0.4, with Tommy's repeat notably tying the rating for its series premiere.
Finals Update: Last Man Standing (+0.1) and the Bob Hearts Abishola repeat (+0.1) adjusted up. Repeats of Young Sheldon (-0.1) and Mom (-0.1) adjusted down.
