Wednesday TV Ratings 2/14/24: The Conners and Abbott Elementary Slip, We Are Family and Judge Steve Harvey Hit New Lows (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: There was some noticeable slippage on ABC as The Conners (0.39, -0.02), Not Dead Yet (0.28, -0.04), and Abbott Elementary (0.44, -0.04) all declined from their week-ago premieres. The news was even worse at 10 where Judge Steve Harvey (0.14, -0.06) fell from an already abysmal starting-point, despite the fact that its lead-in was a Harvey-hosted rerun of Celebrity Family Feud (0.25). I Can See Your Voice (0.22, +0.03) improved on Fox, but We Are Family (0.18, -0.07) crashed to a new low after taking a week off. CBS game show The Price Is Right At Night (0.46, -0.03) dipped, but Let's Make a Deal Primetime (0.35, +0.08) surged after sinking last week. Wild Cards (0.07, -0.01) inched down on the CW, while Family Law (0.07, +0.02) grew enough to tie its lead-in. Over on NBC, Chicago Med (0.30), Chicago Fire (0.29), and Chicago PD (0.30) were all in rerun-mode.

Finals Update: The Price Is Right At Night (+0.1) adjusted up.

Wednesday TV Ratings 1/31/24: We Are Family and I Can See Your Voice Tick Up, One Chicago Lineup Drops, NBA Underwhelming (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Things became a tad more alarming for NBC's lineup in week three as Chicago Med (0.47, -0.09) and Chicago PD (0.46, -0.07) dealt with even steeper declines than they did in week two. Chicago Fire (0.49, -0.07) matched last week's decline, and that was enough for it to pull ahead of its Med lead-in. Since the One Chicago block crumbled, CBS's The Price Is Right At Night (0.50, -0.02) was free to top the night despite dipping slightly. Let's Make a Deal Primetime (0.37, -0.02) and FBI True (0.15, -0.03) also inched down. Amidst all the sinking, Fox game shows I Can See Your Voice (0.25, +0.02) and We Are Family (0.25, +0.03) both built on their week-ago installments. ABC's Suns v. Nets NBA game (0.28) was a tenth lower than last week's Suns v. Mavericks match-up (0.39). Wild Cards (0.05, -0.03) crashed on the CW, but Family Law (0.05, 0.00) held flat.

Finals Update: Chicago PD (+0.1) and Let's Make a Deal Primetime (+0.1) adjusted up.

Wednesday TV Ratings 1/24/24: One Chicago Lineup Slides in Week Two, We Are Family Also Drops, Wild Cards Doubles (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: NBC dramas Chicago Med (0.56, -0.05), Chicago Fire (0.56, -0.07), and Chicago P.D. (0.53, -0.04) all slipped in week two, but the drops were far from alarming as these three remained the top three of the night in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Over on Fox, We Are Family (0.22, -0.07) gave back any boost it might have taken away from its post-NFL showing and fell behind its I Can See Your Voice lead-in (0.23, +0.02). The Price Is Right At Night (0.52, +0.08) surged on CBS, and Let's Make a Deal Primetime (0.39) proved to be a worthy retainer in the 9 p.m. hour, but FBI True (0.18) was still dead weight at 10. ABC's broadcast of the Suns v. Mavericks NBA game (0.39) was more than a tenth lower than last week's game (0.52). Crime drama Wild Cards (0.08, +0.04) doubled last week's premiere rating on the CW, and Family Law (0.05, +0.02) grew along with it.

Finals Update: NBA: Suns v. Mavericks (+0.1), Let's Make a Deal Primetime (+0.1), Chicago Fire (+0.1), and Chicago Med (+0.1) adjusted up.

Wednesday TV Ratings 1/10/24: We Are Family and I Can See Your Voice Crash in Week Two, NBA Also Drops, Raid the Cage Rises (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Fox game shows I Can See Your Voice (0.22, -0.09) and We Are Family (0.21, -0.14) both collapsed in week two, with Family dealing with a particularly harsh crash. On ABC, the Pelicans v. Warriors NBA game (0.33) was a good bit lower than last week's Bulls v. Knicks game (0.39). The Price Is Right At Night (0.44, -0.02) slipped on CBS, but Raid the Cage (0.33, +0.03) actually grew from last week's episode. Reruns of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. all sported matching 0.23s on NBC. The CW had strong repeats of Whose Line (0.09/0.08) and a weaker one of Family Law (0.03).

Finals Update: NBA Countdown (-0.1) adjusted down.

Wednesday TV Ratings 1/3/24: Magnum PI Rises for Series Finale, We Are Family Has Solid Start, I Can See Your Voice Returns Higher (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Magnum P.I. (0.30/0.26) climbed higher for its NBC series finale, going a good bit above the 0.21 it posted for its last original. However, these ratings were still quite mediocre, especially since an eight o'clock rerun of Chicago Med (0.25) came within striking distance. On Fox, I Can See Your Voice (0.31) improved on its March 2022 finale (0.28) and led into the series premiere of We Are Family (0.35). Family grew from Voice and was one of the night's top offerings, only bested by ABC's Bulls v. Knicks NBA game (0.39) and CBS's The Price Is Right At Night (0.46, +0.07). Price Is Right was followed by a rising Raid the Cage (0.30, +0.10) and more FBI True (0.20). The CW re-ran Whose Line (0.07/0.07) and Family Law (0.04).

Finals Update: NBA: Bulls v. Knicks (+0.1) and the 10 PM episode of Magnum PI (+0.1) adjusted up.
