Tuesday TV Ratings 9/27/22: The Rookie: Feds Has Weak Start, La Brea Nears Low in Return, Bachelor in Paradise Premiere Hits New Low (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's 'Bachelor in Paradise' (0.65) debuted with a new series low and was just over 30% behind its August 2021 debut (0.93). At 10, spinoff series 'The Rookie: Feds' (0.34) outdid the return of 'The Rookie' itself (0.31) but barely retained half of its lead-in. Unless it manages to stabilize fast, the future is looking rather bleak for 'Feds'. On NBC, sophomore drama 'La Brea' (0.49) returned close to its delivery from late season one but managed to avoid hitting a new series low, something that almost seems like a feat in this day and age. 'The Voice' (0.69, -0.04) and 'New Amsterdam' (0.33, -0.06) dealt with medium-sized drops at 8 and 10 respectively. CBS drama 'FBI' (0.54, -0.10) lost a full tenth from its premiere while 'FBI: International' (0.48, -0.02) and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.47, -0.04) dealt with more digestible declines. Fox's 'The Resident' (0.33, -0.02) shed two-hundredths from its week-ago start and tied its series low. At 9, struggling 'Monarch' (0.24, +0.03) somehow grew by three-hundredths and was the only show of the evening to rise on a week-to-week basis. The only issue here is that it was still the lowest-rated, non-CW program of the night. 'Leonardo' (0.04, -0.01) and 'Devils' (0.03, -0.01) lost a hundredth apiece on the CW.

Finals Update: 'The Voice' (+0.1), 'La Brea' (+0.1), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (+0.1) adjusted up.
