Below is a table of the audience demand multipliers for many of ABC’s shows from January 1 through January 30, per Parrot Analytics. A 1.0 audience demand multiplier means the show has the same demand in the United States as the average show, past and present. Shows not included in this table are yet to be reported by Parrot Analytics.

Grey’s Anatomy | 35.2 | 1 |

The Good Doctor | 21.4 | 0 |
The Rookie | 18.8 | 0 |
The Bachelor | 13.9 | 0 |
America’s Funniest Home Videos | 13.1 | 0 |
The Bachelorette | 12.5 | 0 |
A Million Little Things | 11.1 | 0 |
Station 19 | 10.1 | 5 |
The Conners | 9.4 | 0 |
black-ish | 8.6 | 2 |
For Life | 7.7 | 4 |
The Goldbergs | 7.5 | 0 |
Dancing with the Stars | 6.1 | 0 |
20/20 | 3.9 | 1 |
The Chase | 3.6 | 0 |
American Housewife | 3.3 | 1 |
mixed-ish | 2.9 | 0 |
To Tell The Truth | 0.7 | 0 |
As is seen, Grey’s Anatomy has far more demand than any other show reported on ABC, with an audience demand of over 35 times that of the average show. This is likely due in large part to its popularity on Netflix. Spinoff Station 19 has nowhere near the demand, with only one drama on this list having a lower demand. Keep in mind, neither Grey’s Anatomy nor Station 19 aired a single new episode in January.
Despite being rather low-rated on Sundays, The Rookie received a strong multiplier in January, putting it ahead of most of ABC’s other shows. Similar can be said for The Good Doctor, which is disappointing in Live + Same Day Nielsen ratings this season.
Sure, For Life has an audience demand of nearly eight times that of the average show. However, it is the least-demanded ABC drama on this list.
The bottom of the chart is filled with sitcoms and reality. Time will tell if the demand for To Tell The Truth and mixed-ish rise; both aired only one episode in January, with the latter being on hiatus since last spring. A big spike for mixed-ish would make American Housewife look especially weak. That is not a good sign for a show with Nielsen ratings that place it on the bubble for renewal.
