It has recently been announced that the fifth season of 'The Originals' will be the final one. The CW drama is a spinoff of 'The Vampire Diaries' and follows vampire Klaus Mikaelson and his family as they become involved in the politics of New Orleans. The series stars Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt, and Phoebe Tonkin amongst others. The fourth season of 'The Originals' aired on Fridays and averaged a 0.32 in the 18-49 ratings, it was down 15% from the previous season.
