Scream Queens Canceled by FOX

FOX has canceled Scream Queens after two seasons. The show, which suffered from low ratings, couldn't escape cancelation forever with the Ryan Murphy name attached. Though supposedly the first season did well on non-linear platforms, looks like it wasn't good enough this time around. Even with a new setting this season, the show was unable to improve its ratings, with its finale only garnering a 0.5 in the A18-49 demo.

TV Ratings 12/20/16: Scream Queens Goes Out Quietly, The Year Leads (Kind of UPDATED)

Tuesday Night's only original, regularly scheduled program left standing ended its season last night, and it steady steadily low. Scream Queens' finale stayed steady with a 0.5, tying its lead-in, a New Girl repeat. ABC aired their annual special, The Year, and won the night with it. They also aired Toy Story That Time Forgot and Shrek the Halls for their second time this year, and Shrek rose slightly from the first airing. The CW aired Christmas filler, and both programs received 0.3s. CBS's repeats started at 1.0 and slowly bled out for the rest of the night, ending in a 0.7.

TV Ratings 12/13/16: The Voice Finale & ABC Winter Finales Rise (Updated)

ABC saw some nice gains in the winter finales of the comedies. The Middle saw a two tenth gain, while American Housewife, Fresh Off the Boat, and Real O'Neals saw one tenth gains. The Voice was up week to week, but NBC's first two hours were actually down from last week, though the 10 PM hour saw a significant gain. Bull of CBS and Brooklyn Nine-Nine were down from their week-ago ratings. The CW aired repeats and got small returns.

TV Ratings 11/29/16: Rudolph Wins the 8 PM Slot, This is Us Wins Night (UPDATED)

This is Us and Rudolph dominated Tuesday night. TIU won the night, and gained 3 tenths from last week, nearly putting it at a season high. Rudolph greatly improved on the ratings for NCIS this season, while CBS also had strong ratings for NCIS and Bull repeats. The Flash on the CW hit a season high 1.5 with last night's crossover, also boosting No Tomorrow.  On Fox, Brooklyn Nine-Nine gained a tenth while Scream Queens and New Girl held their ratings from last week. ABC held up well agains the improved shows, with their shows only down a tenth or so. The Voice rose from last week, but is still far behind the ratings for This is Us.
