TV Ratings 1/10/17: This Is Us Returns To Series High, NBC Obama Coverage Wins 9 PM (UPDATED)

Tuesday night saw President Barack Obama say farewell to his time as POTUS, and NBC's coverage of the address beat out the other networks. It also was the night that This Is Us returned from its monthlong hiatus, and pulled a 2.6 in its special 10 PM time slot. SHIELD also returned on ABC, and it received a 0.8, up from its latest performance in 2016. While CBS took the night off, ABC, Fox and NBC aired their typical 8 PM shows, and NBC won out this time. No Tomorrow on The CW had another low result in its penultimate episode.

Update for This Is Us: It is being reported that This Is Us actually received a series-high 3.0, UP from its midseason finale and up four tenths from preliminary results.

Finals Update: The Mick (+0.1) adjusted up. Bones (-0.1) adjusted down.

TV Ratings 12/27/16: No Tomorrow Low, 20/20 Steady On Special Night

Only three original programs aired last night. All tied or were outperformed by repeats on their own networks. No Tomorrow aired on the CW, and was beat by a repeat of the Flash. The Kennedy Center Honors was beat by a repeat of NCIS, but still helped ABC win the night. 20/20's special on the deaths of icons Carrie Fisher and George Michael tied repeats of The Middle and American Housewife.

TV Ratings 12/6/16: Chicago Fire #100 Steady, This Is Us Ties Series High (UPDATED)

Tuesday saw the fall finales of a few shows, notably This Is Us. This Is Us hit its series high last night, while Chicago Fire and The Voice were steady with their last episodes. The night wasn't so good for ABC or The CW. ABC's 8 comedy programs were all down from last week, while The Flash on the CW (expectedly) lost most of its crossover bump. Fox was steady, as were the returns of the CBS shows.

Finals Update: NCIS (+0.1) adjusted up. SHIELD's fall finale (-0.1) adjusted down.
