Mere hours after the renewal of its fellow Thursday night drama, ABC has also handed a renewal to Grey's Anatomy. The medical drama will return for a twenty-first season, its second full season without original star Ellen Pompeo in its principal cast. The show has seen ratings declines over the years, but remains a top performer for ABC, rating as their #3 scripted show in the L+SD metric, with a 0.47 average. It's also a top performer for the network in streaming, rating as a top money earner for Disney thanks to its streaming and international deals.
