United States of Al Canceled by CBS After 2 Seasons

CBS has canceled sitcom United States of Al after two seasons. A midseason replacement in its first season, United States of Al held up well in the Live + Same Day A18-49 metric in its second season. However, despite airing after Young Sheldon, that was only enough for it to rate higher than How We Roll and fellow Chuck Lorre Production B Positive in the sitcom department. It also hit a series low when it aired a one-off episode in the Thursday at 9:30 time slot, getting a rating which would also have been a series low for B Positive. This evidently was not enough to pull off another renewal. This is an incorrect prediction by The TV Ratings Guide.
