Tuesday TV Ratings 2/16/21: Young Rock and Kenan Premiere Solidly, Big Sky Steady as it Enters Hiatus, Rising This Is Us Leads (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Banking on name recognition alone, sitcoms 'Young Rock' (0.9) and 'Kenan' (0.8) got off to a stellar start on NBC. These debuts demolished what the premiere of fellow peacock comedy 'Mr. Mayor' (0.6) garnered last month and doubled what 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist' (0.4) posted in this slot a week ago. Whether as a result of the stronger lead-in or not, 'This Is Us' (1.1) got back a tenth in the 9pm hour but 'Nurses' (0.3) remained in ugly territory at 10. On ABC, 'To Tell the Truth' (0.6), 'Black-ish' (0.5), 'Mixed-ish' (0.4), and 'Big Sky' (0.6) all matched their previous episodes. 'Big Sky' has now posted a 0.6 rating for the 6th time in a row. Fox's 'The Resident' (0.6) rose by a tenth while 'Prodigal Son' (0.4) was frozen at its series low. CBS was once more in repeats with 'NCIS' (0.5), 'The Equalizer' (0.4), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.4). The CW was even across the board with the finales of 'Two Sentence Horror Stories' (0.1/0.1) and 'Trickster' (0.1).

Finals Update: 'Young Rock' (+0.1), 'To Tell the Truth' (+0.1), 'Black-ish' (+0.1), 'Mixed-ish' (+0.1), and 'Big Sky' (+0.1) adjusted up.
