FADE IN:
INT. BUNKER - DAY
The next morning, Jack and Noah awaken from the floor and couch respectively.
When we last left Jack and Noah, luck has changed and the prospects of the pilot have improved.
Then, the door opens to reveal Ed.
Jack and Noah quickly stand up.
ED
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Settle down. I only come with good news.
Jack and Noah sigh.
JACK
Thank goodness.
Jack and Noah sit on the sofa.
ED
You guys don’t need to stay at the bunker.
NOAH
(puzzled)
What do you mean?
JACK
We have to leave again?
ED
I have a better idea. I have a townhouse. You guys can live with me rent free. No cost.
JACK
Seriously?
ED
Seriously. Even if the pilot doesn’t go through.
NOAH
Okay, we’re in!
EXT. TOWNHOUSE - DAY
SUPER: AN HOUR LATER - DAY
A townhouse is located in Bel Air, close to downtown Los Angeles.
INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY
Ed is showing Jack and Noah the place.
JACK
This is nice!
After the tour, Jack, Noah, and Ed then sit and discuss the script together.
NOAH
So far, 15 pages each.
JACK
We have to trim the fat.
ED
I think I have some pages for the sitcom written.
Jack and Noah take a few pages from Ed’s script sample and look over it.
Noah and Jack gasp.
NOAH
Ed, this is great!
JACK
The momentum!
ED
Hopefully this will help tie in some loose ends.
They keep on writing.
SUPER: TWO HOURS LATER...
They look at the finished product.
Ed then looks at the finished script.
Jack then follows.
JACK
This is well-rounded.
NOAH
Well done, guys!
ED
Teamwork! Now, I’m going to show you your rooms.
They all get up from their seats, one by one.
On the next episode, we finally reveal the title!
