The CW Passes on Jane the Novela

The CW has passed on Jane the Virgin spinoff Jane the Novela. The pilot is a sopay, telenovela-inspired anthology in which each season is based on a different novel "written" by Jane the Virgin's title character and narrated by her. The first season takes place in the Napa Valley, at a vineyard where family secrets don't stay buried for long. Jacqueline Grace Lopez, Marcia Cross, Hunter Parrish and Ivone Coll star.
