FADE IN:
EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING - DAY
A shabby looking apartment sits in the middle of downtown Beverly Hills, California.
INT. APARTMENT LIVING ROOM - DAY
JACK and NOAH are still writing on their notepads, as of the last episode.
They are eating french toast.
Jack stares blankly at Noah while Noah crosses his legs.
Jack then looks down on his computer. He then quickly gets up.
JACK
You gotta be kidding me?
NOAH
(confusingly)
Huh? What is going on?
JACK
Remember when we used to be contributors on Guide for TV Ratings?
NOAH
Fondly.
JACK
Well, look.
Jack takes the computer and hands it to Noah.
Noah’s eyebrows raise. He looks at Jack.
Jack trembles.
NOAH
(sternly)
Dude, you need to put that up.
JACK
But they are making money off of advertisements on this site. Something we could have made money on. Something that could help us with our rent.
NOAH
You are getting upset with this. Here.
Noah snatches Jack’s computer from him.
Jack’s shoulders rise in confusion.
Noah places the computer on the table.
Jack tries to snatch it while Noah swatches Jack’s hands from the table.
NOAH (CONT'D)
I don’t think so buddy.
JACK
(angrily)
But why?
Noah crosses his arms.
Jack quickly stands up and leaves the living room.
Noah follows close behind.
INT. JACK'S ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Jack finds his phone on his bed and proceeds to scroll through it.
His face turns red.
NOAH (O.S.)
You know you can’t access it. You gotta be quicker than that.
JACK
Why the hell would you unplug the Wi-Fi router?
Noah enters the room and smirks.
NOAH
Because you are trying to get to that site. I thought we left that site behind.
(beat)
Could you please put the phone down and not get so pissed at me?
Jack walks to the outlet and plugs the router in.
Noah rolls his eyes.
NOAH (CONT'D)
Where are you going?
Jack leaves the room.
CUT TO:
INT. APARTMENT LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Jack parades around the apartment with his phone.
JACK
What? So I can’t access the website now?
Noah enters the room.
He crosses his arms.
Jack turns to Noah and timidity enters his face.
NOAH
I’m trying to get you to understand that things like this can overwhelm you when it comes to the site.
Noah sits down on the couch.
NOAH (CONT'D)
Guide to TV Ratings was a fun experience. But even with the ads, it is time to move on. Let’s create some shows!
Jack then sits down next to Noah and takes out his notepad.
