NBC Orders New Law & Order Spinoff

Another day, another Law & Order spinoff coming to NBC. This time, the series will be called Law & Order: Hate Crimes, and it will spin off from SVU this season. Former SVU showrunner Warren Leight co-created the show with Dick Wolf, which will focus on crimes involving discrimination. The series is a more traditional entry to the Law & Order franchise than the last series, True Crime, which lasted just one season and drew low ratings despite its big lead-in. It's not yet known when the series will debut, or even if it will be in the 2018-19 season.
