TV Ratings 4/5/17: Survivor, ABC Comedies, and Fox Dip as PD Rises (UPDATED)

Wednesday night was another mostly down night this week. Despite most other shows ticking down, Chicago PD managed to go up a tenth. NBC's other shows, SVU and Blindspot, were steady with last week's episodes. CBS was slightly down, with Survivor going back down after a brief uptick. The show is still at premiere levels, so this is by no means a bad results. Criminal Minds stayed steady, but spin-off series Beyond Borders ticked back down to tie its series low. ABC had some of the biggest declines, with The Goldbergs and Blackish both down two tenths and Modern Family down three. Speechless was a tenth below the premiere of Imaginary Mary, but steady with its latest performance. Designated Survivor was able to stay steady at 10 PM. Fox's Empire continued to slip, hitting a new series low. Shots Fired also had a rough night, as it went fractional and hit a new low. The CW had solid repeats, and their repeats of Whose Line? were even with last week's episode of The 100.

Finals Update: The Goldbergs (+0.1), Shots Fired (+0.1), Speechless (+0.1), Modern Family (+0.1), SVU (+0.1), and Criminal Minds (+0.1) all adjusted up. The CW's repeats (-0.1 each) and Beyond Borders (-0.1) adjusted down.
