What Matters: It was a better outing for CBS's Big Brother (1.8) down just a tenth from last week and well above it's low Sunday outing. American Gothic (0.7) stayed even after a Criminal Minds repeat (0.9), but it's not exactly making it's case for renewal. NBC saw more Olympic Trials with Swimming (1.2) followed by 2 hours of The Night Shift (0.8/0.8) which hit a new low thanks to the lead-in reduction and could only tie FOX's Wayward Pines (0.8) which was up a tick after an even Masterchef (1.1). ABC saw another strong round of comedy repeats with The Middle (0.8), The Goldbergs (0.8), Modern Family (1.1), and Black-Ish (0.9) followed by not-so strong repeats from Fresh Off the Boat (0.7) and The Real O' Neals (0.6). And The CW saw another round of 0.2s with repeats of Arrow and Supernatural.
Finals Update: Big Brother (1.9) adjusted up tying it's premiere from one week ago and Masterchef (1.2) went up to beat last week's airing. While Wayward Pines (0.7) adjusted down.
